Guinness has a problem in Africa and wants to solve it. Many bars and restaurants that carry Guinness don't have enough electricity to keep all their products cold. And Guinness is best served cold. So they launched a pilot program to bring more electricity to these bars by way of solar power. This test venue in Uganda, Shisa Nyama Village, needed a Guinness makeover as well as solar power.
The assignment was to redesign/redecorate the venue using Guinness branding and marketing materials. Make it be more Guinness! So I used the elements from the brand book to make a distinctive new design while maintaining the original character of the venue.

The client and the bar owner loved all the designs and was beginning production when Guinness pulled the plug because of a political matter in Uganda.
